Narrative Images

We were asked to take photographs around leeds that would tell a story in 3 images and it could be about anything for example high class people coming out of Harvey Nichols and less affluent coming out of the Leeds market.
I decided to photograph the park near college because it is asthetically pleasing to look at with the colourful flowers. I think my images show that the park is peaceful and a tranquil place. What I don't like about my images is that the sky is very cloudy but at least its not raining. My first photograph shows the flowers and the nice kept grass, with no litter on the floor.

My second image shows a community man cutting the grass to keep the park looking pleasant to attract visitors.

The 3rd and 4th images are to show that people do go to the park they enjoy the view and its a peaceful place for students to go. I decided to have more than 3 images because I wanted more images to show what the park was used for.

My second story is almost a documentary styled narrative because I was photographing a shop called dwell closing down I thought this would be interesting to photograph because    to me on Briggate is where all the most successful shops are located and for one to close down is a bit strangely odd. My first photograph even though I wasn't paying much attention to the composition but what makes the photograph interesting is the man sat outside the shop.

For this photograph I wanted to show the shops located near to Dwell.

My 3rd image is showing another shop closing down, a few shops down.

This photograph is to show the street where Dwell is located.
