Core project: Task 8 Exhibition Layout

Sorry for the bad quality pictures, they were taken on my phone.

The photographs on the top row and bottom row were printed at size 10 x 8 and the photographs in the middle column were printed at 12x8 at Max Spielmann in Bradford.
I took these photographs trying to decide how the name tags for my food should be.
I really liked my tags above my photographs but they were more advertising than showing off my photographs.

This is how I decided to have my name tags because it doesn't distract the eye away from the photographs.

On exhibition night: (better quality)

Some of my photographs printed a little blurry and that's because when I was resizing them in Photoshop I went back to the originals and printed them from that and for the others I didn't and that's a lesson learnt for the future.

As well as photographing being exhibited we had to produce another outcome. I decided to produce a cookery book with recipes and my pictures for the Food Academy and Flannels.

I am very pleased with the outcome of my book but the only thing I did wrong was I got the Food Academy's name wrong and wrote Flannels. The pages are matte and I had to add some extra pages as the recipes were quite long. I didn't have an order for my images because I was rushing to get it finished and shipped as soon as possible but looking back at the photographs now I should have made an order.
