Core project: Task 6 Final set of photographs & order

To decide my final order I looked through all my photographs I had taken for each restaurant and picked out the ones I liked best or were eye catching for me. From the ones I picked out best I had to choose 3 photographs for my final layout which was very difficult but easy at the same time as my mum was helping me because I'm terrible at decisions and another opinion on my photographs was very helpful. I decided to only have 3 images for each cuisine/ restaurant because it looked more professional and not over crowded, even though I would have loved to have had more than 3.

Of all the photographs I took at the Food Academy I edited them and tried to have 1 photograph for each final dish but some I edited differently for example chose different lighting and different levels of sharpness on others.

These were the final images that I chose I wanted to have printed but had to narrow it down to three.

For Mamma Mia I took pictures of 19 dishes and there were lots of photographs to choose from, which was the hardest category because I liked so many dishes but some were so similar for example the pasta dishes and pizza dishes.

I really like the calzone as a photograph because the sauce dripping off and would have wanted it in my final 3 but it wasnt as appetizing as the other dishes. It would have looked a bit out of place.

I loved all my photographs from Yo Sushi because even though Sushi isn't for everyone I think the layout of the food is amazing and so pretty. It was quite tricky to choose just three because as I said I liked them all.

But I managed to narrow some down and some of the dishes were alike (the rolls) so I choose to only have one roll.

Deciding layouts for each cuisine.

I decided to have the pasta on the top because of the sprinkle spice and the mint leaf facing left because having the duck al pepe underneath the pizza creates a book stand effect as the spice opens the photographs and closes it also.

I decided to go with this layout because I liked the yellow of the Tamago Maki and the Salmon selection being on top and the below of the yo rolls.

Finally I decided that these were the images that would be printed.

I had to change some of the photographs as things in the background ruined the shot I had taken.
